HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT (SA-CONNECT PROJECT)
Broadband Infraco, is a long distance national and international optic fibre connectivity network infrastructure provider based in Radiokop, seeks to appoint a suitable candidate to the following employment opportunity:
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Consultant: HR Operations, the incumbent will:
- Co-ordinate the recruitment & selection process pertaining to the above projects.
- Ensure that positions are profiled and graded.
- Give input with regards to review and formulation of HR policies and ensure they are aligned to various labour legislation.
- Communicate new and changed policies and procedures to all staff.
- Advise staff and line management regarding interpretation of policies.
- Advise correct procedures for arranging/accessing training.
- Performance management facilitation administration.
- Support Organisational Development Change management initiatives.
- Employee Relations monitoring and facilitation.
- Reporting and general administration.
- Facilitate/advise termination of employment processes and all related administrative process.
- Provide HR Generalist support as may be required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
- 5 years / Generalist / HR Practitioner experience (with exposure to development and implementation of HR policies, employee relations, recruitment & selection, and administration).
- Good working knowledge of all legislation impacting the HR domain and their practical application in the workplace – Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Skills Development Act, Labor Relations Act, Employment Equity Act.
- Microsoft and HR information system experience is critical.
