Project Stakeholder Manager 24 Months Fixed Term Contract (SA-Connect Project)

Broadband Infraco, is a long distance national and international optic fibre connectivity network infrastructure provider based in Radiokop, seeks to appoint a suitable candidate to the following employment opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Broadband Access Fund, the incumbent will:

  • Be responsible for managing the relationships between the Capital Projects and the private broadband operators that are implementing SaConnect 2.
  • Develop and implement the CPM stakeholder engagement strategy and model.
  • Working with the CPM team to assess and manage the stakeholder engagements /relationship for the SaConnect project.
  • Develop and manage effective communication with positive image for the SaConnect project in the industry.
  • Manage engagement with the Private sector Internet Service Providers/ Fibre Network Operators and any other interested operators.
  • Resolve operator concerns quickly and effectively, forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities and promote high-quality sales, supply and service processes.
  • Develops and manages one or more defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups.
  • Set up the overall stakeholder engagement governance, workshops and creating realistic goals and deliver timelines.
  • Responsible for brand strategy and implementation of the SaConnect project.
  • Responsible for intergovernmental stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Candidate must have BCom Marketing or related qualification.
  • Post Graduate Business Management qualification.
  • More than 10 years’ experience as a Relationship Manager.
  • ISP/ MVNO / FNOs industry knowledge and relationships with potential applicants to the Fund.
  • Experience providing client or account management services in the ICT sector.
  • 10 years’ experience in the Telecoms industry with In-depth understanding of residential broadband deployment
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Customer oriented mindset.
